First 3d HD camera

This is the worlds first 3d HD camera from Panasonic. The main body looks very similar to my HMC 150 and the HVX 200 but the lens is obviously different. I would love to meet the sucker who purchases this right now. 3D technology to me is too advanced for home use. I saw Avatar in 3d and it was amazing but I can't imagine coming home putting on the glasses and watching ESPN. Most people do things like clean, browse the internet and more when watching TV, so who wants to wear the glasses when doing any of those things? How the hell will someone even edit in 3D? Last I checked, Final Cut Pro and Avid don't support 3d Editing. Blue-Ray is just now becoming the norm and HD is FINALLY here to stay until the next greatest format. I don't think 3d will be big for at least 6-8 years, if ever. So when you hear all this hype from Sony, Panasonic, LG etc. about their new 3D TV, please remember when the first HD TV's came out and how long it took for Direct TV and Cable providers to actually broadcast in HD.

The WEEKEND

The weekend was packed with different events. Late Friday, Kevin B and I wrapped up the snowboard season with a bang. We just walked up to the snowboard park and camped out and certain features and did some filming. We got some pretty decent footage for my "Highlighted Attributes" film. Saturday we went drinking in Old Town Alexandria for the Saint Patrick's day Parade. Sunday night I had my flag football game and we got RULED, AGAIN!! Our record is now a NICE 0-5.
