On one of my last shoots for my next time-lapse short, "THE DISTRICT", I got pretty luck with this sky.

The Waiting Game

Timelapsing is all about waiting and a lot of it.

Natures Light Bulbs

These are some of the darkest Skies on the east coast but when you have fog / low level clouds, a single light at the only gas station for miles acts as a light bulb spreading light.

When Fog SUCKS

Fog serves no purpose but to ruin my timelapses so I decided to snap this vertical shot of the milky way.

Watching the fog roll in

After 3 days in Spruce Knob, WV and dealing with the fog I'm back to stopping at traffic lights and heat.  It was about 20 degrees cooler up at WV's highest peak and a lot of rolling fog caked my cameras with moisture but I got some decent shots.

UP NEXT: Spruce Knob

Next week I'll be heading back to Spruce Knob, WV to shoot the Milky Way and explore.  I'm begging for the rain to hold off for those 5 days.

Mini Black and White Series

I decided to transform some photos taken a few years ago to black and white.

Overhead

I was off the grid in West Virginia this weekend shooting some astro time-lapse.  This is a still I snapped from a walking bridge after a time-lapse just after the moon fall below the horizon and the sky got dark.

Happy 76th Birthday BRO

This famous ass bridge turned 76 years old this week.
