New Toys

Tomorrow I'm heading to my bachelor party with 8 bad ass donkeys.  I figured there would be a good sunset tonight after the snowstorm passed and I got to play with my new Emotimo Unit and canon 6d.

Yesterday was good but today was by far better.

New Year + New Gear= GO TIME!!

I've been slammed with time-lapse projects the start of this year.  I also bought some new gear so I can keep up with the demand of all the shooting I'll be doing.   We finally had some warmer weather roll through and I went to the Capitol to test out my new 2 axis head and canon 6d.

Here's a still from a time-lapse panning left to right.  Not much color besides blue but it was great getting out.  

Creepy

Prior to going downtown a few days ago to shoot I was told that the client is trying to get some shots of the Capitol that aren't the typical angles people would shoot and may be a little creepy.  I think this qualifies.

The DOME

As I was leaving the house last night I discount double checked the weather, clear and a high of 35.  Great, I could deal with that.  The weather report left off one major detail, WIND.  I was shooting some timelapse stuff for a commercial last night and some winds were topping out at 30+ mph.  But I think we made it work despite being really cold.
